Grilled tomatoes

Ingredients for 4 persons
You'll need :
- 4 nice big tomatoes
- Olive oil
- Salt pepper
- Garlic, parsley, shallot
- Breadcrumbs
Preparation: 15 mins
Equipment: a cast iron dish, baking paper
Cooking: about 15 minutes
Préparation :
The embers arranged in a crown, without flame.
- Cut the tomatoes crosswise, arrange them in the dish.
- Mix breadcrumbs with finely chopped parsley, garlic and shallot.
- Salt, pepper.
- Spread a good layer of breadcrumbs on each tomato half and pour a little olive oil on top.
- Lay out a sheet of baking paper to protect the top of the dish and bake for a good 10 minutes.
- Finish cooking after removing the protection.
- Accompanies all grilled meats.

Good to know: if you are lucky enough to have a garden, you can reuse the cooled ashes in your vegetable garden or at the foot of your rose bushes. Ashes are rich in elements that promote plant growth.
