Cherry Clafouti
Cooking with closed door
Ingredients :
- 500 g large cherries
- 100 g sugar + 1 tablespoon after the baking
- 3 eggs
- 100 g flour
- 30 cl full-cream milk
- Butter for baking dish
- A pinch of salt
Method :
- Wash cherries. Pit them or not , as you wish.
- Whisk sugar and eggs together, then add the flour and salt.
- Pour in the milk little by little, stirring constantly until smooth to obtain a paste like that of the pancakes.
- Butter a baking dish, scatter with cherries and pour batter over the cherries.
- Bake at 180°C for about 40 mn
- Remove from oven and dust the cake with powdered sugar.
- Let it cool before tasting.

Good to know: if you are lucky enough to have a garden, you can reuse the cooled ashes in your vegetable garden or at the foot of your rose bushes. Ashes are rich in elements that promote plant growth.
