Oven-browned peach
Open oven cooking
Ingredients: For 6 people
You'll need :
- 6 large ripe yellow or white peaches.
- 3 tbsp. brown sugar or possibly powdered sugar.
- 70 g almond powder.
- 75g of butter.
Preparation time: 10min
Materials: A baking sheet and aluminum foil
Cooking time: about 15 minutes in an open oven
Preparation :
- The embers arranged in a crown, without flame.
- Wash and dry the peaches. Cut them in half, remove the core. Arrange them, cut side up, on the baking sheet.
- Prepare a stuffing with the softened butter, sugar and almonds to replace the pit of each peach half.
- Bake and watch the cooking.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or fruit coulis.

Good to know: if you are lucky enough to have a garden, you can reuse the cooled ashes in your vegetable garden or at the foot of your rose bushes. Ashes are rich in elements that promote plant growth.
